my dad bought a scaglietti like 4 months ago it is just as they say very versatile and the suspenssion is so comfortable

even thought it’s an elegent work of art,sadly its MPG is the worst,and in today’s age,fuel effecientcy is everything.
@PCgeek14 That’s old-school thinking. Just follow the F1 trend,which is arguably the best:mid-engine,rear-wheel,naturally aspirated. V8 preferred.
@lawrencelugar7777 You could not be any more incorrect,mid engine v8 cars are not how ferrari built its heritage,the true ferrari is the original ferrari and that means a long hood with a v12 under it.

@edbrookshan Car and Driver ranked this first ahead of Bentley GT,DB9 and CL600. The CL600 almost beat out the Ferrari (they also took value into consideration). But they said none are equal to the 612

my favorite ferrari ever hands down. i have always loved this car. for some reason,to me,it carries a different kind of allure than the rest of the ferraris. some day i WILL have one

Chris,your analysis is ridiculous.
Chrispou the 612 is not comparable to a 458 because they serve two different purposes. A 612 is a very traditional Ferrari as they started out selling GTs,so one can’t say this isn’t a real Ferrari.
following from my other comment,probably a nice 456 ferrari would be better to own than this. With the 458 you save money on the ferrari´s and get a real ferrari,and can use the savings to spend on track day related expenses as well. The problem with Grand Touring cars is that people are becoming more extreme in their selections,either it is the supercar of the range or the saloon to get you from A to B (e.g. for BMW it used to be M3 or 760iL,but now it is M3 or a 530td).
as I said in the other test video of this car,it comes off as mediocre 6 out of 10,styling looks very 1990s and test was just 3 years ago. Now with the 458 supercar,which makes all other ferraris obsolete,why would you buy any other ferrari than a 458? So,you will see a sales issue problem in Ferrari from now on.
